The most common side effects include discomfort, swelling, itching and tenderness at the injection site. These typically last for 1-3 days and can be minimized with Tylenol/ibuprofen and antihistamines. Bruising is common and in some can last up to 2 weeks. Lumpiness can occur in some, and typically resolves. Prior to your treatment your provider will explain all potential side effects and post care.
